iHere focuses on family safety protection, protecting the safety of the elderly, children, partners, and friends in an all-round way. We value your privacy as much as you do and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, store, and protect personal information collected through our products and services, and your choices in these respects.

When you review our policies, please remember that this policy applies to iHere's ("iHere", "we", "us" or "our") websites, mobile applications (iHere), help centers, and other related services we provide ("Services"). This Policy also applies to iHere physical devices as well as other products, such as labels ("Products").

Before you access or use our products and/or services, please ensure that you have read this policy and understand how we collect, store, use, and disclose your personal information as described herein.

Information We Collect

The information iHere collects depends on the iHere product or service you use and how you use it.

Information You Provide to Us Directly

We may collect a variety of information when you create or modify iHere, update your preferences, purchase and/or activate products, contact us (including through social media or the Help Center), participate in online surveys, or otherwise interact with iHere's products and services, including:

Account information

When you create an account, your username, email address, real name, nickname, date of birth, mobile phone number, password, shipping and billing address, and activated products. You also have the option to provide a photo to link to your iHere account.

Group information

When you create a group in the iHere app and invite friends or family members to join your group, we collect their name, email address, mobile phone number, and photo (if provided).

Identity verification

In some cases, for example, depending on the features of the products and services you use, or depending on your age and country of residence, we may take steps to verify that a parent or guardian is consenting to the child's use of this service. We work with identity verification vendors who collect information from government-issued ID images or pictures of you (such as selfies), which will be used in conjunction with facial recognition technology. (Note: The digital age of consent may vary by jurisdiction, and iHere may adjust our parental consent process accordingly.)

Transaction information

When you order a product or upgrade to a premium subscription, you will need to provide an email address, name, and shipping address. The payment information you provide is processed by the relevant billing or payment processor. We may also collect information such as the version of the product or subscription service you are using, the date and time you activated your account, the length of your subscription, data related to your subscription cancellation request, and in-app purchases you may have made.

Optional account information

When you customize features in our products or services, we may collect information (for example, to mark a location on an iHere in-app map).

Feedback and social interaction with us

We collect information when you provide feedback to iHere or otherwise interact with us.

Other information you provide to us

We collect information you provide when you respond to surveys about our products or services; You provide us with information about your friends, such as when you purchase a gift subscription; Information you provide when you ask us for help, such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and records (including call logs), as well as technical information related to the problem you are experiencing.

Device information

This includes information about your device, hardware, and software, such as your mobile device identifier, operating system, IP address or browser information (including browser type and language preference), device make/model, Wi-Fi connection, battery status, and advertising identifiers.

With your consent, we collect precise geolocation data (including GPS coordinates and latitude/longitude information) through your mobile device or our products that transmit precise geolocation data. We also collect information about your location, such as the city or zip code inferred from your IP address, and information obtained through technologies such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Mobile activity information

This information includes information about how and where you move, such as your speed, altitude, and direction, which we collect through technology embedded in your mobile device or our products, such as gyroscopes, accelerometers, compasses, mobile phones. This information indicates things like whether you (or your pet) are moving, and if so, how you are moving (i.e., whether you are riding, walking, running, or driving, how fast you are, and whether you are accelerating or slowing down).

Information collected through tracking technology

When you use our products or services, such as using our apps, visiting our websites, or reading our emails, we and our partners may use various technologies, including cookies, web beacons, pixels, clear GIFs, log files, embedded scripts, SDKs, location recognition technologies, or other tracking/logging tools (collectively, "Tracking Technologies"), to collect some of the information described in this section and other information about your activities on our Services, Such as the links you click, the features you use and the actions you take on our Services, whether you open an email or click on a link in an email we send, the ads you view or click on, information about your activity on specific pages of our website (such as mouse movements and keystrokes), items viewed and/or placed in your shopping cart, and app performance data. We collect information when you use our Services to send messages to other members in a group, and when you send photos or videos to other members in a group through the App. We may also have access to photos or camera rolls on your mobile device with your permission.

We may receive information about you from other sources. If you link other accounts with your iHere account, we receive information from the company that provides these services.

We may also derive or draw inferences from other information we collect, including precise geolocation data. For example, we may predict that you may be interested in certain products or send you certain alerts based on how you have previously interacted with our Services or your typical movement patterns.

Posted to our blog, community forums, or other public websites

Information or content that you voluntarily submit or post to the iHere website, blog, community forums, or comments you post on our social media pages will automatically become public. We may post your comments and opinions publicly on our website or mobile application or link your comments to third-party websites.

We are not responsible for the information you choose to provide on your social media pages or the content or communications you receive as a result of sharing such information.

Service Providers and Consultants

We may disclose your personal information to vendors and consultants who help us provide services or perform services on our behalf, such as accounting, administrative, technical, email, SMS, or chat services, marketing or analytics services, fraud prevention, bot detection, web hosting, and to other parties who provide services or features to our members on our behalf.

Business partners who provide you with specific services

We may disclose personal information to business partners, including contact information, location and mobile data (including precise geolocation data), mobile device information (e.g., information generated by gyroscopes and accelerometers in your device), application analytics data (including IP address and device identifiers), technical and analytics data, and driving event data, which provide certain features and services that you choose, To use through or in connection with our products or services, provided that they are available in your country or region.

Purchasers and other third parties in connection with commercial transactions

We may buy, sell/divest any part or combination of the Company or its products, services, assets and/or business at any time. In such transactions, personal information (such as member names and email addresses) and other member information related to our services may be transferred. Correct, correct, access, opt-out, and delete your information

Sign in to your app, click Settings, and then tap Account to correct or modify your account information or personal information (such as name, email address, or phone number), or change your password.

iHere's marketing newsletter

As noted above, we may send you personalized information about iHere or our business partners' products and services, including special offers or features that may be of interest to you, via email, SMS/text message, mobile phone, or push notification or postal mail, as permitted by applicable law . You may opt out of receiving these marketing communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in these communications and as further described below. Note: Some jurisdictions may require your consent to receive promotional messages.

Unsubscribe from emails. You can unsubscribe from future marketing emails from us by clicking on the unsubscribe mechanism included in the marketing emails you receive. We will process your request within a reasonable time after receiving it, and within the time frame required by law.

Unsubscribe from SMS/text messages. You can unsubscribe from SMS/text messages by replying to "STOP", "QUIT", "END", "REVOKE", "OPT OUT", "CANCEL" or "UNSUBSCRIBE". We will process all unsubscribe requests as soon as possible.

Unsubscribe by mail. If you no longer wish to receive mail from us, you can sign up for the "Do Not Mail" service in your country or contact our customer service team at service@ihere.net to request that you be added to our Do Not Receive Mail list.

Mobile devices and push notifications. You can choose not to receive our phone or push notifications by navigating to the Settings menu on your mobile device, tapping Notifications and disabling notifications from iHere. Please note that this will turn off all push notifications you receive from iHere, and we recommend that you leave "Emergency Alerts" turned on for your safety.

Please note that if you opt out of receiving marketing communications from us, you may still receive non-marketing messages from us, including, but not limited to, messages from members of a family or friend group that you invite to join an iHere group, messages related to the features of our Services (if you are an emergency contact for a member), messages related to your participation in surveys, and transactional messages (such as purchase and bill receipts, Renewal Notices and Service Updates).

Location and mobile data collection and sharing in the iHere app

We collect, use, and disclose precise geolocation data and mobile data, as described above. You can control this data collection and sharing activity through a number of options in the app settings:

If you no longer wish to continue using the Products and/or Services, then uninstalling iHere, removing the battery (if applicable), or deactivating the device to disable the Product, as well as logging out of our Services, will also prevent us from collecting your location.

Web-based sales of personal information

You may also choose to consent or disagree to the use and sharing of personal information collected from our website (for the purpose of displaying targeted advertising on other online platforms) by visiting the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of the website and adjusting the switch as needed.

Please note that these settings must be completed separately for each browser on each device you use, as well as each of our websites, and will not affect app-based settings. If you clear cookies or your browser is set to clear cookies, you must make your choice again.

Our policy towards children

iHere takes special precautions to protect the privacy of our underage members. iHere does not knowingly collect personal information from children who have not reached the minimum age requirement without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. Our Services are only available to children with the full participation and approval of a parent or guardian.

If iHere becomes aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child without parental consent as required by law, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and notice that your child has registered an account with our Services or used our products without your consent, please let us know immediately by emailing service@ihere.net .

As a parent or guardian, you allow your child to create a membership account and/or allow your child to use products or services, you expressly consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your child's personal information as described herein.

Establish a child account

If a parent wishes to add a member (child) to our services, we will ask the parent to provide verifiable consent by verifying the parent's information at the time of registration. After that, children will be able to use most of the features of the iHere service. By providing products to a child, you represent and warrant to iHere that you consent to the child's use of our products and services and, as a parent, further consent to enable and allow iHere to collect and use information from products and services used by children, as described in this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

We collect personal information about children

We take special precautions to collect only information that is reasonably necessary for children to use our products and services.

Disclosure of information about children

iHere may disclose children's personal information to our third-party vendors, service providers, and business partners who provide integrated services, as described in this Privacy Policy. However, we do not share or sell the personal information of our known child members and do not display ads in children's accounts. Personal data and location information of children using the Service will be shared with other members of the groups they join. Please note that children may exchange information with these group members. You are responsible for monitoring your child's account and location-sharing activity through our products and services, and for preventing or allowing location-sharing features.

Parents or legal guardians have the right to request access to or deletion of children's personal information and can withdraw their consent to continue collecting children's personal information for our products and services. Please contact us at service@ihere.net to request access to and/or delete personal information about children that we may have collected, or to withdraw your consent to iHere to continue collecting other information from children. We will require sufficient identification from a parent or guardian to allow access to or processing of such personal information.

How we protect your information

iHere takes the security of your information seriously. The measures we take to protect your personal information are described below.

Security

We have implemented appropriate standards to reduce the risk of unauthorized or unlawful access to your personal information. Without an unbreakable security system, we cannot guarantee the security of our systems and your information in absolute terms.

We will never send you unsolicited messages or contact you by phone asking you for sensitive information such as your account ID, password, payment information, or ID number. Please note that the emails and other communications you send to us are not encrypted, and we strongly recommend that you do not share sensitive information in these ways.

If certain information under our control is compromised due to a security breach, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and, where appropriate, notify affected individuals, as well as take action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Accuracy and confidentiality of your email address and password

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and ensuring that the email address associated with your account is accurate. We will use your email address to contact you about service updates, policy changes, and account activity (such as requesting information from you). We recommend that you use a strong, unique password for the Service. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password immediately through the appropriate app or website.

iHere is not responsible for information or data transmitted to third parties due to members providing incorrect phone numbers or email addresses.

Data retention

iHere will retain the information we receive as set forth in this Privacy Policy as provided that you continue to use our products or services, or to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business interests, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws. The purposes for which we process information may determine how long the same type of information is retained.

Additional privacy terms for countries and regions

International transfers

You agree that all information collected through or by iHere may be transferred, processed, and stored anywhere in the world, including, but not limited to, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the cloud, our servers, the servers of our affiliates, or the servers of our service providers.

Law enforcement or other authorities may have access to your information when lawfully requested. By providing information to iHere, you expressly consent to the storage of your information in these locations. This may mean that your personal information will be stored in jurisdictions that provide a certain level of protection, which in some cases may be less protective than in the jurisdiction in which you normally reside. Data Privacy Framework

iHere complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework ("EU-U.S. DPF"), the EU-U.S. DPF UK Extension, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework ("Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework") developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce. DPF) (collectively, the "DPF") in relation to the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the United Kingdom ("UK"), and Switzerland to the United States.

iHere has certified to the Department of Commerce that they process personal information transferred to them in accordance with the DPF Principles. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Privacy Policy and the DPF Principles where the DPF applies to your information, the DPF Principles shall prevail.

iHere may also protect information through other legally valid methods, including international data transfer agreements.

If you are a citizen of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may exercise certain choices regarding how certain of your personal data is used and disclosed, access, corrected, or deleted certain personal data under the DPF.

You also have the right to opt out of the use or disclosure of personal data received or transferred by iHere under the DPF if iHere (i) uses such personal data for a new purpose that is significantly different from the original purpose for which it was collected or subsequently authorized, or (ii) discloses such personal data to a non-acting third party in a manner other than as set forth in this Privacy Policy . Requests to opt-out of such use or disclosure of personal data should be made in accordance with the process described in Section III. If personal data is "sensitive" (such as information about health status, race, or ethnicity), iHere will not process such sensitive personal data as described in (i) or (ii) above without your opt-in consent.

When iHere receives personal information under the DPF and then transfers it to a third-party service provider acting on its behalf, iHere remains liable under the DPF if both of the following conditions are met: (a) the agent processes the information in a manner inconsistent with the DPF, and (b) iHere The company is responsible for the events that caused the damage.

Our Services may contain links to websites and services owned or operated by third parties. The information you provide on or to the Third-Party Service, or collected by the Third-Party Service, is provided directly to the owner or operator of the Third-Party Service and is subject to its Privacy Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please check back frequently. If applicable data protection laws require us to provide enhanced notice or ask for your consent for such changes, we will do so. Otherwise, changes to this policy will be effective at the time of posting.
